Women Fanworks - Recs & Meta

Let's share some of our thoughts on the women we see in media as well as our favorite fanworks of our favorite women characters.
In honor of International Women's Day & Women's History Month (U.S.), the community will be open March 1-31 for posting meta and recs of fic, vids, art, podfic, meta, graphics, etc - any fannish endeavor you enjoy. Self-recs are welcome.

Note: Fanworks or Meta should be focused on characters who identify as women or who are aligned with womanhood. Please use your best judgement when dealing with non-binary characters. All relationship types and combinations are eligible.

To post a rec or meta*, use this optional form and create a new post to the community and please tag your rec with the fandom & fanwork type or '!needs a tag' if you don't see it listed.
*For meta, you may link to another post or post the entirety of your thoughts directly to the community (please use a cut if it's long or contains pictures, etc).

Feel free to leave a comment here or PM me if you have any questions.

Can I post meta here if it brings up female characters but is not strictly about the condition of women? I have two pieces of meta I'm considering self reccing, one about cultural accuracy regarding a female Chinese Canadian character and another that is about rape culture in a setting where I go over case studies involving many female characters.
