Note: Fanworks being recommended should be focused on characters who identify as women or who are aligned with womanhood. Please use your best judgement when dealing with non-binary characters.

All relationship types and combinations are eligible, again use your best judgement. For example, I love the Star Wars OT3 relationship of Poe/Finn/Rey, but most fanworks with that relationship aren't going to qualify here. Something that is tagged as Rey/Kylo could, but only where it's largely Rey's POV or about her journey, etc. Feel free to leave a comment here or PM me if you have any questions.

Summary:
Deanna is working in a coffee shop while earning her doctorate. Sure her mom could get her a kush office job, but then she wouldn't get to meet so many interesting people. She also might have missed befriending Beverly, a working mom who's freaking out over med school applications.

Reccer's Notes:
I have a soft spot for coffeeshop AU's and for Deanna's love of chocolate, making this story a perfect fit. The story is slice-of-life piece where Deanna and Beverly are co-baristas at a coffeeshop and the narrator does a great job voicing the story. Other TNG characters drop in for beverages and Deanna tries to resist giving out counseling advice.
